Dough divider rounder is a machine that cuts and rounds small weight dough at the same time. The dough weight ranges from 30-135 grams depending on dividing range of the machine. This dough is ideal for production of scones, buns or even pizza.

The work of the machine is to divide and round dough placed on the pallet into equal parts. There are three types namely Manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic models. In Kenya we prefer the semi-automatic model. How to get the right weight of dough in a Dough Divider and Rounder Machine?

The machine role is to divide the and round dough placed on the pallet into equal parts. Also depending on the dividing range of the machine, the pallet produces a fixed number of rounded dough. This could be 15 pcs for 100-160g dividing range,22 pcs for 501-180g dividing range, 30 pcs for 40-135g dividing range.

So you will ask yourself; What grammage do i want to end up with eg 80grams.Then multiply that by the number of pcs your machine produces(also the impressions of the pallet).Then put that dough inside the palate e.g. if you are using the 30pcs (40-135grams) dividing range you will add (30pcs x 80 grams)=2.4Kg into the palate.

The machine will then divide and round into 30 equal parts of 80 grams! Simple. 

This principle is also applied in a hydraulic dough divider. The difference with the dough divider and rounder is that the hyrdaulic dough divider cuts rectangular pieces. These pieces could be about 20 at a go but of higher grammage between 120 grammes to 2000 grammes. This is ideal for dividing loaves.
